Procovery, A Forward-Focused
Treatment Model
Recovery works for some persons, Procovery works for all.
Recovery involves helping the client return to life as it was before
the onset of the mental illness. Procovery involves helping
the client lead a self-fulfilling life regardless of the state of the
illness, the person is helped to accept & embrace the illness.
Procovery is hope-centered, forward-focused & skill based with the
client, family & others working as partners. The Procovery model
offers clear principles & strategies for helping those impacted by
mental illness to live productive satisfying lives.
