Hopewell Center serves an annual caseload of over 4,600 clients. The nature of the environment and the prevalence of mental illness in our service area demand that Hopewell Center deliver quality services and programs to meet the needs of a large client population. Hopewell Center's array of mental health and rehabilitative services are designed to meet the unique needs of the mentally ill individuals whom we serve.

Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, community support workers, case managers, and therapists with extensive experience in the health care field. Most staff are licensed in their field or credentialed as qualified mental health professionals by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Staff members are culturally & ethnically diverse & culturally competent; many have both mental health & substance abuse training & are skilled at working in an integrated model with our clients.

The Balance Service System is the model Hopewell Center uses for service delivery and structure. It values service delivery which supports the least restrictive environment, strength of the consumer, supports and services as long as needed; a rich panel of services, consumer/provider advocacy, augmenting natural environment, holistic approach, highest level of functionality, intensive outreach (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals, 1976).
